Can your actions, behavior or thoughts affect future generations? Can your choices determine whether your children and grandchildren achieve financial success?
There is an ancient spiritual statement: Qian ren zai shu, hou ren cheng liang (pronounced chyen wren dzye shoo, ho- wren chung lyahng), which means ancestors plant the trees, descendants enjoy the shade.
If our ancestors have accumulated good virtue through good service to others, then we, their descendants, enjoy the benefits. This is cause and effect. A good cause (action, behavior or thought) brings good effects.
Good Service Creates Success and Good Karma
Think about humanity: Many people are very wealthy. Many people are very poor. A business owner in the Philippines once told me he had a very good team. He also thought he planned and marketed well, but his business was not successful. He had a very close friend who did not plan or market much, but this friend’s business decisions and business were always successful. The first business owner could not understand this at all.
In Toronto, I knew someone who made whatever business he touched very successful. He asked me, “Why am I such a very blessed person in business?”
I paused a moment and did a spiritual reading by communicating with the Divine. I told him, “The Divine told me your success comes from your grandfather. Your grandfather did very good service for others, and this created lots of good virtue for him.”
After hearing my spiritual reading, he was very surprised by its accuracy. He told me, “Master Sha, my grandfather was a spiritual leader. Thousands of people still follow his teachings. He was extremely loving, compassionate and kind. People built statues and temples in our hometown to honor and remember him.”
This example tells us that because this man’s grandfather gave great service to others, he enjoyed benefits and rewards in his business and finances. His grandfather created good karma for himself and his family.
According to Hindu and Buddhist traditions, karma is the record of your service in all your lifetimes. Karma can be good or bad. Good karma is created by actions, words and thoughts performed with love, care and compassion — making others happier and healthier. Bad karma happens through actions, words and thoughts delivered with ill intent, including killing, cheating, stealing, criticizing — which can hurt and harm others.
Karma is the root cause of success and failure in every aspect of life, including health, relationships and finances.
Why Some People Have Wealth
Why do some people have financial abundance? The root cause is good karma. They and their ancestors accumulated great virtue in their lifetimes. They served people very well. For this good service, they were given good virtue. This good virtue, which is recorded in the Akashic Records, has transformed to physical money in their current lifetimes. If they continue to serve well, they will continue to have financial abundance in future lifetimes. Their descendants will also flourish.
Why do other people struggle with poor financial conditions? The root cause is bad karma. They and their ancestors made significant mistakes in their lifetimes. Therefore, in order to transform your finances, the key is to clear your own bad karma and your ancestors’ bad karma.
Clearing Karma Benefits Your Family
How can you clear bad karma? The best method can be summarized in one sentence: Offer unconditional universal service to humanity and Mother Earth.
Unconditional universal service is very important. However, it is very difficult to offer service that is truly unconditional. When someone offers professional service, he or she deserves to be paid. Everyone has to make a living. Everyone has responsibilities for the care of their families.
However, to self-clear negative karma, the key is to offer unconditional universal service without expecting anything in return. Just give pure service to others to make others happier and healthier.
Offering unconditional service raises your spiritual currency or virtue, creating a positive karma record of good deeds. By lovingly volunteering your time and skills, donating to humanitarian efforts and assisting others in moments of need, you build your spiritual currency for abundance to flow freely in your life.
How can you keep your good karma flowing to improve your financial well-being?<
When unconditional universal service becomes a part your business by making others happier and healthier through your good actions, kind speech and compassionate thoughts, you open the door to unlimited abundance.
Karma Forgiveness Practice
This is easy to say, but not always easy to do. Remember this soul secret: Forgiveness can clear bad karma. Try this simple forgiveness mantra practice (say it out loud or silently):
Dear Divine,
I am sorry.
Dear _________ (name the persons you hurt or harmed),
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Then chant silently the Divine Soul Song Love, Peace and Harmony:
I love my heart and soul
I love all humanity
Join hearts and souls together
Love, peace and harmony
Love, peace and harmony
Love, Peace and Harmony can be used to effectively to self-clear karma. It carries the high frequency and vibration of divine love, forgiveness, compassion and light — all of the elements of good karma.
Remember, what you chant is what you become. When you chant for love and forgiveness, you activate powerful energy for restoring your financial well-being.
