Of all the feelings we can experience, fear is one the trickiest and most difficult one to deal with. Even people who consider themselves highly rational and enlightened are sometimes blindsided by fear that is irrational and unexpected. It is also relentless, bombarding us with thoughts and images that we do not want and that are sometimes not connected to the reality. In time, I started understanding that there is a correlational between that reality and my mind. Fear can only go as far as our mind let it.
Key Takeaways:
- There is a correlation between what we think about and what we experience in our lives.
- Spending too much time worrying about the future can allow us to fall prey to fear and anxiety.
- Fear can be a tool used to understand what we are afraid of and what we need to work on.
