How I Stopped Putting Everyone Else’s Needs Above My Own

It was always very difficult for me to say no to people, and I often found myself taking care of others while neglecting my own needs. This is no necessarily a bad thing, but in time I realized that there are negative aspects of this attitude that bothered me more than I realized. We often become entrapped in this mindset and there’s a fear of not playing the role. When giving far outpaces receiving, we can often find ourselves with a life full of dissatisfaction and resentment.
