Chronic stress can have very negative affects on our health which include things like muscle tightness, high blood pressure, increased heart rate and difficulty breathing. One of the best ways that we can ease stress and relax more is by listening to music. A study was done by the University of Nevada, Reno which showed that when highly stressed individuals listened to their favorite song, they tended to relax much more. Some of the best kinds of music to listen to when trying to ease stress include Native American music as well as Celtic music. When you are feeling stressed, go listen to your favorite song and chill out.
