Why It’s So Hard to Just Rest and Why We Need to Do It

There are many different reasons why it’s hard for us to rest but it is also one of the most important things for our health. Resting is difficult for humans because we are conditioned to be productive and busy all throughout our day. We don’t tend to prioritize resting and instead prioritize accomplishing as many tasks as we can in a day. However, it is essential for us to get some relaxation time and de-stress and we can do this by meditating or listening to music.
