The lives we live in these days of fast lane living and technological overload are sometimes so quick that we do not have the time to enjoy it fully. Even when we think we got it right and slow down to look at the world around us, something or someone can show us that we are still off. I have this happen with my kid all the time. It takes someone so young and unspoiled to show me the beauty in small, simple things and to point out things that I have never noticed on my own.

Key Takeaways:

  • A four-year-old child is amazed by so many things that adults may not even notice.
  • Times you wish would go by quickly may turn out to be hard to let go.
  • You only have one shot at life, so take advantage of the choices that you have.
