Mindfulness has a way of helping us appreciate ourselves much more and can even lead to us understand that we should be our best friends. This goes all the way back to Buddha and he would describe that he knew he had happy feelings and he knew he had unhappy feelings when both were present. He was always mindful of what he was doing at what exact time. Over time he understood that reconnecting to his mind and soul was the key to keeping himself loved.

  • Mindfulness, or paying attention to how you feel in the present moment, is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
  • Try to take time for yourself in today’s frenetic culture and atmosphere.

“The Buddha explained that such attentive mindfulness helps us decrease our own suffering.”
