Your Questions About Subliminals

Ken asks…
Does listening to audio CDs (paraliminals, subliminals) from the hard disk of pc reduces its effect?
I usually copy the original CDs on the hard disc to protect it from damage. Read somewhere that listening from the hard disc reduces its effect. Is this correct?

BrainSpeak answers:
That doesn’t make any sense.
When you rip a CD to a computer file, you create a WAV file, which is a byte-for-byte digital copy of what’s on the CD. People don’t usually use WAV files on portable devices because the files tend to be really large.
What most people do is then encode the WAV file into something smaller like mp3 or ogg files. These formats are lossy, which means some of the data in the original source is discarded while compressing into that format. The files are sampled, and data is tossed based on the capabilities of the human ear to detect those frequencies (which is fairly limited range). This allows for smaller files and more songs to be stored on your media.
However, you could also use the FLAC format for encoding. FLAC is lossless, and uses a different method for compression which maintains the integrity of the original source. You can take a compress FLAC file and create an exact copy of the CD audio file for burning to an audio CD.
There is no effect on music files when playing them from a computer.

Richard asks…
Do subliminals really work? If yes, which one is the best source to get subliminal text for PC’s?
Subliminals, as I believe are somewhere between hypnosis annd NRL’s. There has been a lot of research by the scientists, Govt. authorities, academicians etc. but no conclusive proof seems to be there. Still I think that subconscious mind power can be tapped, trained and positvely directed for self improvement and achievements. There are a lot of sites which offer priced as well as free subliminal software but nobody’ll want to bombard one’s subconscious with subliminals until some authentic proof of positive result is available. That’s why this question…..
P.S. Only genuine and authentic answers based on one’s real experiences are requested.

BrainSpeak answers:
I don’t think it’s possible unless you custom do it for a specific person. If it’s too subliminal, they won’t notice the message at all. If it’s not too subliminal,, they’ll consciously notice the message and might rebel against it or overthink it. Every person has their own threshold of how sensitive they are to certain visual images and so on. You’d first need to test that person so see what their sensitivity levels are. Then you can sneak in the messages you really want.

Thomas asks…
